Our liberations are tied

ASSATA is an independent library, publishing house, and community space  in Oslo. The library collects literature centering global struggles for liberation. The collection contains works on political theory, philosophy, poetry, art and more. The aim is to draw connections between different liberatory struggles.

ASSATA's collection includes over 500 books and is encouraged to be read by the public.

In addition to the library, ASSATA organizes reading and study groups, film screenings, poetry evenings, lectures, discussions, and workshops in collaboration with friends.
